Candler School of Theology is delighted to invite you to our annual Black Seminarians Day on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, 8:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. This year’s theme, “The Time is Now,” reflects on the responsibility each generation carries to respond faithfully to the needs of its time.

Join us for a special campus visit highlighting Black excellence at Candler and Emory, ask questions of our world-renowned faculty during a class visit, and enjoy a worship service featuring preacher the Rev. Natosha Reid Rice.

Studying at the Atlanta University Center? We’re running a shuttle from the AUC to Candler, and we’ll hold you a seat — just tell us when you register.

About our preacher

The Rev. Natosha Reid Rice is Minister for Public Life at All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Atlanta and Global Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Officer for Habitat for Humanity International. Ordained in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, she previously served as Associate Pastor for Women’s Ministries at Ebenezer Baptist Church and practiced law at Alston & Bird before joining Habitat.
